Cut vegetables into thin strips - carrots, red pepper, broccoli, bean sprouts and cabbage. Fry on high heat, tossing well.

Make the chow mein sauce. In a small bowl mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, shaoxing wine, sugar and sesame oil.

Cook noodles then add to the wok along with the sauce. Toss and cook for a minute.

Top with sesame seeds, scallions and chilli!
