I have the most refreshing orange, carrot and ginger juice recipe for you. Fresh oranges, carrot and ginger are blended and juiced to make this vibrant, immune boosting drink.
Also, you don’t need a juicer to make juices! You just need a fine sieve or a nut milk bag and it is what I use every time!
I love making juices out of seasonal fruit and veg which is why I have chosen to use oranges and carrots and they work perfectly together.
The addition of fresh ginger brings this juice together and adds a spicy and warm flavour.
This drink is perfect in winter when the colds kick in and our bodies need a boost. I’m having a glass as I write this and I could drink it every morning it’s that good.
If you’re put off because you think juicing is effort – it really isn’t. Yes, it takes a little longer than just whizzing up a smoothie but it’s totally worth it.
Fresh homemade juices beat shop bought every time.
If you don’t have a juicer you will need a powerful blender and either a fine sieve or I recommend buying a nut milk bag.
That is the one I use and can recommend. They are inexpensive, reusable and perfect for making your own milks and juices.
Once they are blended you will place the bag over a bowl/pyrex jug, pour the blend in and squeeze.
You may need to do it in batches so you don’t make a mess. You will be left with the pulp but do not throw this out!
Use it in a smoothie or soup like my thai sweet potato and carrot soup. You could always freeze the pulp too if you don’t have time to use it straight away.
This juice taste best when chilled so pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving or serve with ice.
If you want to make this in advance I recommend drinking it within 24 hours. It is a great recipe to make the night before you want to drink it.
I keep some recycled glass bottles with caps, decant it into them and then can take them with me in the morning! The Fentimans small glass bottles are perfect for this.

I tried this recipe and it was amazing!!! I only used 5 oranges (because my juicer’s container would have overflowed had I used more), but it was still very delicious! Thank you for the recipe!
