Berry packed ultimate breakfast smoothie! Made with plant milk.
This is always my go to smoothie and is a great breakfast option if you want something healthier or to take on the go. It is filled with ingredients I always have on hand, and you probably do too.
Bananas are a great base in smoothies as they are thick and creamy. Frozen fruit is something that everyone should have in their freezer. Unlike fresh fruit, you don’t have to worry about them going off or being eaten by a certain date.
Plus it makes the smoothie cold and a beautiful pink colour. Oats are added to fill you up and are rich in magnesium and will give you energy through to lunchtime. You can choose any nut milk you like, I usually use almond milk. And the maple syrup is for sweetness, but is optional.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t resist a smoothie that is good for you and is so pretty! I whizzed this smoothie up in my new Optimum VAC2 Air Vacuum Blender by Froothie, which is amazing. You know when you make a smoothie and leave it out or for later and it goes that murky brown colour?
This blender has an air vacuum to stop exactly that. So no fear of a pretty pink smoothie turning brown! I’ve tested it! You can find the full review and my 5 minute cheese sauce recipe here.
